| Raptors win midget basketball bronze
provincial club championships in Halifax this past weekend. The Raptors started off a bit sluggish with a 14 record going into the crossovers,[url=http://www.floware.fr]michael kors paris[/url]. In the opening game on Friday they were defeated 8480 by the Steelers. On Saturday the Slam defeated them 8068. In the afternoon the Express defeated the Raptors 7155. On Sunday morning they were up against the host team the Canadian Martyrs and managed to win 6449. This win secured them in the bronze medal game to battle it out a second time with the Express. This time the Raptors came out on top with a 7563 win, to take home bronze. This was a major accomplishment for the team as it was put together in January and they were competing against teams that have been together since last September. Colin MacIntosh was also named to the tournament allstar team. Players consist of boys from Northumberland, West Pictou and East Pictou schools. |
